This past June, I became the new owner of Fish Hair Salon and Tacklebox Beauty, and honestly, I couldn’t be happier! To say I’m grateful and excited would be an understatement.

Fish has been my home for the past 15 years. It’s where I’ve grown, evolved, and learned alongside some of the most talented, genuine, and creative people I know. Over the years, Fish has continued to transform, finding new ways to celebrate creativity, inclusivity, and connection. It’s shaped me in ways I can’t explain.

I also want to take a moment to thank Donna, our incredible founder and former owner. Her vision, artistry, and heart built the foundation that makes Fish so special. She’s created a space where people can truly be themselves and where creativity thrives and community comes first. I’m endlessly grateful for her trust, guidance, and friendship, and I’ll do my best to carry forward the spirit she’s nurtured for so many years.

I took some quiet time before sharing this news—to really take it in, and to give our amazing team space to adjust to what might feel like a big transition. While change is a natural part of growth, everything moving forward comes from a place of care, collaboration, and love for what we do. This isn’t about “out with the old and in with the new” so much as celebrating and continuing what makes Fish special: our craft, our culture, and our people.

I’m so proud to continue working alongside this incredibly talented team, and I hope my that actions past, present, and future show how much I value and care for them.

Thank you to anyone who’s supported Fish over the years. Your love and loyalty mean the world to us. Here’s to the next chapter; built on the same heart, creativity, and community that have made Fish shine for 27 amazing years.
